I am a dedicated community advocate, wife, and mother, and I am running for New York State Assembly to bring effective and accountable leadership to District 8.

As a lifelong Long Islander, I have firsthand experience of the challenges families face, such as rising healthcare costs and economic instability. I am committed to fighting for real solutions that improve everyday lives.

We are a blended family with a deep bond. My husband, Mike, is a retired NYPD officer and former CSX Police special agent who served in law enforcement for over 42 years. Together, my family has experienced both the strength and struggles that shape working families, including the devastating loss of our young spouses to cancer. This loss fuels my passion to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and patient-centered.

As a nuclear medicine technologist, supervisor, and lead technologist, I had responsibilities that extended well beyond performing tests. I helped develop hospital procedure and testing protocols, including a protocol to help detect ATTR cardiac amyloidosis, a disease that causes protein deposits to build up in the heart muscle and make it stiff.

I was also responsible for preparing my department for audits and inspections by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Department of Health (DOH). This required careful attention to documentation, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

These roles taught me how to lead, solve problems, and maintain accountability—with patient safety always at the center.

My campaign is rooted in the belief that government should work for the people. I am focused on lowering costs for families, strengthening accountability in public spending, and restoring trust in our institutions. I believe in investing in preventative healthcare, supporting working families, and ensuring our community has the stability and opportunity it deserves.
